Terms of Use

These terms set the rules for using Lexelo and its learning and ranked-match features.

Last updated: August 27, 2026

1. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Lexelo, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement in your location.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the activity resulted from our failure to use reasonable security measures.

3. Fair use and ranked play

You may not:

  • use automation, answer-sharing, exploits, or unfair assistance;
  • harass other learners or submit knowingly false reports;
  • interfere with matchmaking, scoring, security, or availability;
  • reverse engineer the service except where law expressly allows it;
  • upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access; or
  • use Lexelo for unlawful or abusive activity.

Ranked matches may pair you with another learner or an AI opponent. Progress indicators can update independently because each player answers at their own pace against one shared timer.

4. Learning results

Lexelo provides practice, diagnostics, and estimates of skill. Levels, rankings, explanations, and recommendations are educational tools, not official certifications or guarantees of exam, school, or employment outcomes.

5. Beta features

Some features may be identified as beta or preview. They can change, contain errors, or be removed as we improve the service. We welcome feedback but cannot promise that every suggestion will be implemented.

6. Lexelo content and rights

Lexelo and its software, design, question systems, graphics, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of Lexelo content.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Lexelo reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with law, or improve the product. Where practical, we will provide notice of material changes.

8. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend accounts that violate these terms, threaten users or system security, or create legal risk. You may stop using Lexelo at any time. To permanently delete your account and associated progress, open the app and go to Profile → Settings → Delete account, then follow the confirmation steps. If you cannot access your account or the app, contact support@lexelo.tech for assistance.

9. Responsibility and consumer rights

Lexelo is provided with the level of care required by applicable law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

10. Contact
